N&E Innovations (Singapore) becomes the winner of the Green Innovation Accelerator 2025
Ho Chi Minh City, August 22, 2025 – The final round of the Green Innovation Accelerator (GI Accelerator) 2025 officially concluded at InnoEx 2025, Southeast Asia’s Premier Innovation Forum and Exhibition. After a challenging six-month journey, the N&E Innovations project from Singapore successfully impressed the judging panel, securing the top prize and solidifying its leading position in the region’s green startup ecosystem.
With hundreds of CEOs, experts, investors, and representatives from green financial institutions in attendance, the GI Accelerator 2025 finals served as a dynamic platform for groundbreaking technological solutions tackling urgent environmental challenges. The competing teams presented circular economy models, sustainable production technologies, and emission-reduction solutions, showcasing the immense potential of this generation of pioneering enterprises.
N&E Innovations: Elevating the ASEAN agri-food value chain with green technology
N&E Innovations made a powerful impression on the Board of Judges with its pioneering Vikang antibacterial technology, extracted entirely from food waste. Using this technology, N&E Innovations developed chemical-free packaging and post-harvest treatment solutions, offering a breakthrough for the agricultural sector.
The Vikang technology can extend the freshness of fruits, meat, and vegetables by up to two times (2x), significantly reducing spoilage and food waste. The project not only addresses a critical environmental issue but also aims to green the entire ASEAN agri-food value chain, from farm to supermarket, while helping to reduce CO₂ emissions by up to 35,750 kg per year.
