SiGen has introduced a solution for odor-blocking, insect-resistant water drain manholes, comprising a main manhole with a cover and auxiliary manholes connected to the main one via the overflow. Specifically, odor-trapping water drainage components are installed along the bottom channel, allowing water from the auxiliary manhole to permeate and flow to the main manhole without allowing odorous gases or sewer smells to flow in the opposite direction.
This principle ensures the effectiveness of odor-blocking in manholes, keeping the auxiliary manholes consistently dry, facilitating waste collection and treatment, and preventing the growth and proliferation of insects.
This breakthrough solution can address all lingering issues with current water drain manholes, contributing to the creation of a healthier urban environment and safeguarding public health.
